Yeah, I'm behind...whatever. :) We had an AWESOME, yet busy, holiday. We spend actual Christmas with my family at my sister's house in Missouri. We flew to Tulsa, then rented a car and drove over to Joplin. The kids did great, and I have to say that I was amazed at how smooth and problem free both the flight there and back was, considering we were traveling around Christmas! My parents drove up and so they stopped by our house and took all the gifts for us. It was nice to be ALL together, something that hasn't happened since last March when we went to Santa Barbara. Most of the time my b-i-law has to work and can't join us. Christmas Eve my sister sang at church, so we loaded up the twins and then dropped them off at the nursery for the first time. (yes, we have not been to church since the twins were born, and yes that is one of our NY resolutions) When we walked in the nursery Marshall saw trucks and was immediately fine, and Presley was playing as well. Half way through the service, my nursery pager went off...uh oh. Apparently Presley was doing fine for a while, but had become inconsolable and just wanted her mommy and daddy. Marshall kept on playing and did great the rest of the service. I brought P back in the service with us to see how she would do and was perfectly fine. However at one point Kyle brought her out to the lobby because she started getting restless and talking loudly. :)
Christmas morning was quite chaotic! With a 7 year old, a 3 year old, and two 19 month olds, it was pretty crazy and overwhelming opening up gifts! Among other things, they got Leapster cell phones, Marshall got a tool belt, and Presley got two precious baby dolls. I loved being with my family and spending time with my fabulous nieces. I also got to meet my ADORABLE and sweet little nephew, Isaac. I loved holding him and listening to all his precious noises...it brought back memories and made a miss those days (just for a minute of two!) Here are some pics in no certain order what so ever. :)
