Half birthday

I seriously can not believe that half a year has come and gone! Marshall and Presley are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I thank Sarah (and Kyle!) for giving them to me. The twins are such happy babies! They have yet to meet a stranger, and smile at everything and every body. They are both sitting up really well, and that is so fun to watch! I know it's only a matter of time before they are crawling. We have started baby food, and so far they have had pears, sweet potatoes, and peas. I don't introduce something new every 3 days, I usually give them one thing for about a week. No reason, really, but I guess with 2 I want to make sure that I know if each one likes it or not. Next up will be bananas! For those of you who are wondering, yes I feed them at the same time. One bite here, the other bite there. We don't go for our 6 month check up till Monday, so I don't have their stats yet, but I can tell you I think they are around BIG. Both of their hair has really started growing too. Of course it's probably not noticable to other people, but Kyle and I can definitely see a difference. They are still sleeping 7-7, although most mornings Marshall gets up around 6 and then goes in and out of sleep till I go get them at 7. They are also discovering each other. Presley loves to grab Marshall's hand. Sometimes they will be on their quilt and they will just stare at each other and crack up. They both are also in to faces. They love grabbing other people's and even each others sometimes!

Marshall-he loves all the food we have given them. Sometimes he puts his hands in his mouth after bites, so it is a bit challenging when he does that! Usually it's when I am fixing to give Presley her bite, and holding his hands with one of my hands is difficult! I have a feeling Marshall is going to be a good eater like his Daddy. Marshall went through a two week period where he wasn't talking much, but now he is back in full force! He babbles all day long. He has finally discovered that his feet are two built in toys. He knew they were there, he just didn't know how cool they were until this past Monday. Now it's non-stop playing and talking to them! His face lights up whenever you bring him a toy, it is precious! He still does his belly laugh, and it is the best sound in the world! I will post a video soon of that again because it is just too cute not to share! He also is a drooling machine and has started sucking on his fingers. I think teeth are in our future for both of them.

Presley-she likes all the food, except peas, she can take 'em or leave 'em. She is sitting up so well! She can reach over and pick things up and still keep her balance sitting. She smiles at everything...no joke! It really started about 3-4 weeks ago, and when she smiles you can't help but smile back! Presley also talks a lot, and still does her squawking. Presley, more than Marshall, has started to show jealousy. If Marshall has a toy that she wants, she will get this look on her face like "that's mine!" and grab it away from him. We don't have two of everything for a reason...they have to learn to share. We do have two of some toys, just not everything. She puts everything in her mouth, whether it be a toy or your finger.

The twins are so much fun right now! It's so nice that they can sit up by themselves, but I don't think I am ready for them to crawl just yet. I love you very, very much M and P!
