17 Months

Again, apologies for lack of blogging. Except for our iPhones, we don't take many pictures and that is usually what makes me blog...to show pictures!

The twins are every where these days, and growing a TON! They are still doing wonderfully at the sitter's house. They take one, two hour nap a day when they are there, however we still haven't mastered that on the weekends. :)

They are talking up a storm, although Presley says more words than Marshall. They both are obsessed with trucks, tractors, buses, anything big that has wheels. Marshall's specialty is the siren noise. Here are some words they are saying:

Shoe
Truck
Tractor
Airplane
"are you" for where are you
Moomie-movie
Bubbles
Animals
Flip flop
I see you
MINE!!!
Blanket
Tiger
Balloon
Bus
Hat
Sock
Fish
Ball
Banana
Apple
They can say and point to...hair, eyes, ear, nose, mouth, belly button, cheek, teeth, tongue, foot, toes.
More
Bath
Dog
Bird
Elephant
Piggie
Bite
Up
Eat
"side" for "outside"
One, two
Ice cream
Buddy
Slide
Flower
Poo poo (Presley has started telling us when she does this in her diaper)
Diaper
Belt
Pool
Water
High five

I'm not sure how much they weigh, but when I tool him to the doctor at the end of September (horrible eczema outbreak), Marshall weighed 28 lbs, 5 oz. He wears 3T shirts and 18-24 month bottoms. He's got broad shoulders, a long torso, and a small waist. She is in mainly 18-24 month stuff.

They are both really in to shoes, but Marshall especially loves to put on his daddy's shoes and walk around...he's pretty good at it too! They also love shutting doors and climbing on things.

I can't believe they are almost 18 months. I mailed my sister (due very soon with my nephew) the twins' diaper bag for her to use. I got teary eyed when I put it in the mail. It sounds stupid I know, but it kind of makes me sad to know we aren't in that stage any more and we don't need it.

This was taken at the sitter's house, a rare moment of them playing nicely together :)
