It's that time of year again...think PINK!

I guess this will become a yearly post. :) Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that October is breast cancer awareness month. Just about every person I know knows someone who has been affected by this disease (not including me). Every little bit helps you guys! Whether it is ten cents for every yogurt top, or 10% of bagels sold...it all helps! Majority of restaurants have some sort of breast cancer promotion/give back during the month of October, so please go to these places and buy those things! Some people think, "Oh whatever...10 cents doesn't make a difference!" Really? What if every person IN THE COUNTRY turned in an Activia yogurt top...yeah that's a lot of money! I just discovered the "Pink Glove Dance Competition" that hospitals do. Not sure if this is the first year, or what, but they are pretty cute. This is a link to just one of the many that are on youtube. They don't have a blatant message, they are just a fun tribute to breast cancer. However if you dig deep enough, the message is there. :) In this particular video, there is a segment of high school students dancing. Guess what...because of ME, Presley will have to start getting mammograms when she is 17...in high school. Please donate where you can, to whom you can. Whether it be Susan G. Komen, the American Cancer Society, or any other foundation that does breast cancer research...please help whichever way you can so that Presley, Carter, Sophia, Emmie, and all the young girls out there don't have to think about mammograms when they should be thinking about high school dances. :)
