#2 and Red Face

Well I guess it was bound to happen...again. Friday night during bath time I was getting their washcloths our of the cabinet when all of a sudden, I heard grunting. I thought to myself, "Surely neither of them are pooping, they both just had dirty diapers!" The next thing I hear is Kyle saying, "That one's yours!" Ugh...I knew it!!! Without going into too much detail, let's just say the clean up job that followed took a little longer than Marshall's. The funny thing was that I was the one who freaked out, and Kyle stayed completely calm. This wasn't his first rodeo, after all. So we put each of them in a sink in the bathroom and bathed them in there. We cleaned up after we put them to bed. I guess Presley didn't want Marshall to get all the glory!

Saturday evening I fixed applesauce for them with a little cinnamon, which they love. After Presley was done eating and I was wiping her face, I noticed it was red around her mouth and on her chin where the applesauce had been . I thought that was strange because she hadn't eaten anything new. The only other time that happened was when I gave her one of the medicines for her thrush, and it didn't happen every time I gave her that medicine. So we took them outside to look at the trees (and subsequently play in the dirt in the flower pots), and I noticed Marshall's was red too! Weird. Kyle suggested it was the cinnamon, but they'd had it lots of times before. So this morning I decided to make them cinnamon toast to see if it was in fact the cinnamon. I'll be darned if it didn't happen again! We concluded that it must be the cinnamon I used. Before, I used McCormicks brand. This time I used some from this spice rack that I got at a white elephant gift exchange (but we do nice gifts, not weird ones). I won't be using that cinnamon for them anymore!

Having issues with uploading my pics to blogger again so I'll hopefully have those later. Pictures of her red face, NOT the other topic of the post. :)
