Day at the Park

Last Sunday Sarah (my surrogate), Chad, and Roby came over for lunch and to play with the babies. Chad hadn't seen them since the hospital (besides pictures on facebook) and he was amazed and how big they were, considering the last time he saw them they were 6 lbs! We "relived" some of the events of their birthday and I just can't believe it's been 9 months. Crazy!

After they left we all took long naps (yes Mommy and Daddy too) and then we went to the park. As I've mentioned before Marshall and Presley love to swing. This park is great because there is a trail/sidewalk that goes right in front of the playground so they can look at all the people, and their dogs, as they go by. It was very busy so there was lots for them to see! In the past, they haven't liked the slide but we figured we'd try again. Marshall thought it was so great and Presley couldn't decide if she liked it or not. Kyle must be a child whisperer, because VERY often kids tend to start talking to him when we are places like the park. Bless her heart, but this little girl was swinging next to Marshall and started talking, and talking, and talking to Kyle. Even when he stopped talking back, she still kept right on chatting! It was so funny and very hard for me not to laugh. Seriously, kids flock to him!
