Since it snowed last week, I didn't leave the house AT ALL until Wednesday evening, because I absolutely had to go to the grocery store. So Saturday Kyle watched the twins while I ran a bunch of errands. Granted, they were almost all for the twins, but who cares...I got out of the house! I tried to sell some of the twins' clothes to Kid To Kid, but they barely took anything! I guess that is what I get for buying my kids cheap clothes!
Friday night Kyle and I ordered sushi from our favorite sushi restaurant, Wasabi, and we watched The Social Network. Awesome movie! If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it! Saturday night we made spaghetti with turkey meatballs that was delicious! We decided to watch another movie, and as we were looking through them I saw "The Back Up Plan" with Jennifer Lopez. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I remembered hearing that it was about getting pregnant the unconventional way, but I couldn't remember if it was surrogacy or what. So without reading the info about it, we rented it. Worst.movie.ever. Seriously! We watched the first ten minutes and every one of those was painful. Usually I will still watch a movie all the way through, even if I don't really love it, but not this one! So we went through the movies again and Kyle chose "The Town" with Ben Affleck. It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, and is probably up there in my top ten all time. Not only did he star in it, but Ben Affleck directed it too and he was fantastic. Awesome, awesome, awesome, it totally made up for the waste of ten minutes we spent on J. Lo! Okay so we spent $18 on movies this weekend and $12 of that was worth it, I guess that's not too bad!
Sunday I made Taco Soup and of course we watched the Superbowl. I guess because of the snow, it didn't really hit me that the Superbowl was being played here and how HUGE that is! I'm glad Green Bay won, I didn't want that dirty quarterback, Ben really-long-last-name, to win again. :)
Nine month post coming later this week!
