Last Sunday we all went to my friend Shelley's son, Guy, third birthday party at The Little Gym. There was a wide age range of kids, but since Marshall had just started army crawling, and P hadn't yet, there wasn't much activity from the twins. They played with Ella (10 days older) and Adelaide (2 months older), and of course Marshall flirted with both of them.

Last week we enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was so nice to be able to sit on a quilt in the backyard and watch the babies observe everything. Marshall wanted to pull up and eat the grass, so our time was cut short. :)

Going for the grass

This past weekend, one of my best friends from high school, Andrea, came to visit. She likes us so much she came all the way from Little Rock! Kyle decided to let us have a girls weekend, so he went to visit his brother in Mason for the weekend. Saturday was gorgeous again so we hung out in the backyard for a while (much easier with another set of hands!). Saturday night we went out to eat with another of my best friends, Lauren (who is a twin herself). The babies did really well at dinner and we only had one incident. Marshall some how grabbed a small piece of lettuce that had fallen on the table from my plate and stuck it in his mouth. The next handful, however, I saw and took it away. I noticed his eyes were watering and he looked like he was fixing to spit up, so I instantly knew he had probably snuck some food in his mouth when I wasn't looking. I put my finger in his mouth and out came a dark green piece of lettuce, and a whole lot of spit up. He wasn't choking, thank goodness, but I think he was trying to figure out if he should swallow it or spit it out. Needless to say, my heart stopped beating for a few seconds because choking is my one of my biggest fears when it comes to the babies. Everyone was okay though! Sunday we went to see our friend Shelley's new house in Keller. We had a great weekend and I am so happy I was able to see her.

Andrea, let me show you how I can stand up!

See?!

As all of you know, this week has been FREEZING cold in Fort Worth and we even got some snow! Kyle didn't go to work yesterday, and of course I had to get a picture of the twins in the snow, so we bundled them up and put them on a towel in the backyard. We were out there all of two minutes. It was frigid and Presley picked up some snow...you can guess what happened. She did NOT like the temperature of the white stuff that looked cool and started crying.
What the heck is all this?

Really, Mom? I'm cold!
I'm so over this, mom
Okay you have your picture, now let's go inside!
